Dominique Ansel Bakery is situated between Victoria and Belgravia and has spacious seating for approximately 25 guests indoors as well as a quaint enclosed garden.
Here, you will find our dedicated team working in our open kitchens, excited to share with you first-hand what we do.
While all our offerings — both sweet and savory — are rooted in French techniques, we ultimately believe in creativity, and cooking food that has an emotional connection with our guests.
We also offer Afternoon Tea each Thursday through Sunday from 12-4pm with a menu of sweet and savory bites that follow the path of a flower from seed to bloom.
With great food, quite simply, we strive to make people smile.
We look forward to welcoming you.
Dominique opened his celebrated Dominique Ansel bakery in New York's Soho neighbourhood in November 2011. Dominique Ansel Bakery Soho, centering upon the idea of creativity, is the birthplace of Dominique's signature desserts.
In April 2015, Dominique launched his second NYC shop, Dominique Ansel Kitchen, which features a menu with more than 70% of the items being made, finished or assembled to order. The West Village location is inspired by Dominique's believe that "time is an ingredient."
In July 2015, shortly after opening Dominique Ansel Kitchen, Dominique launched a revolutionary dining experience: U.P. (short for "Unlimited Possibilities"), an exclusive after-hours tasting table that seats just 10-12 guests and is hidden within our 2nd floor pastry kitchens. There, guests enjoy a multi-course tasting menu centered around a theme, which changes 1-2 a year.
Honoured to have the opportunity to cross the pond over to the UK, Dominique opened his eponymous bakery in London’s quaint Victoria/Belgravia neighborhood. Dominique’s vision for his London bakery was to bring a sense of wit, humor, and old-school charm to pastry and Afternoon Tea.
Chef Dominique brings his creations to the West Coast for the first time with the launch of Dominique Ansel Bakery in Los Angeles. Opened in November 2017 on the 1st floor of a two-story space at The Grove, the bakery offers some of Chef Dominique’s most celebrated pastries, along with brand new creations made exclusively just for LA.
In November 2017, Dominique launched his first-ever restaurant in LA at The Grove. The name references our original NYC home (at 189 Spring St), which coincidentally is also our LA address (189 The Grove Dr). It was meant to be. Serving lunch on weekdays and dinner nightly, the menu features creative & modern American cuisine, while our Weekend Table takes brunch to a new level with a family-style communal feast.
