Restaurants across the capital are coming to the aid of hungry Ramadan-observers by taking measures to make your iftar – the name given to the meal which breaks fast – even more welcome. From free dates to five-course dinners, mocktails to macarons, we were one of the places in London to head to break your fast according to Evening Standard.

Dominique Ansel Bakery

Dominique Ansel Bakery, the London home of the Insta-famous cronut, will be opened until 11pm from May 6 and throughout the month of Ramadan – that’s quite a leap considering it usually closes at 8pm. Special offerings will include larger sharing versions of some of Ansel’s most popular bakes, including an eight-person edition of the signature Mini-Me cake, made with four textures of chocolate cake and topped with miniature meringues.
